In response to Pope Francis’ invitation to each and every person to become involved in the synodal process, His Excellency, Bishop Crosby, OMI, and the Diocesan Committee for the 2021 – 2023 Synod of Bishops developed a few materials to encourage the participation of the Faithful of our Diocese.

One Heart One Soul Campaign - KICKOFF:
This weekend marks the Kick-off for Sacred Heart Parish campaign. For 90 years, Sacred Heart Parish has played a significant role in the Guelph community and in the lives of its parishioners. Our pride in what our Catholic ancestors built and left us inspires us to leave for the next generation a parish community for which they can feel equally blessed.
Today, this inspiration moves us to continue to build upon our faith foundation, to help bring others to Christ. That journey includes uniting to maintain and improve our spiritual home, even as we face the challenges of COVID-19. For more information click here
MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTOR:
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Welcome to our Roman Catholic faith community.
Our parish community is involved in many aspects of pastoral service. Our many volunteers truly help to make our Church a welcoming place to worship God and enter a profound experience with Jesus.
We always strive to bring the message of love and mercy of Jesus to all who come to our parish. If your are a long-time parishioner or a new parishioner or a visitor, we welcome you with open arms and hope you truly have a wonderful encounter with Jesus at Sacred Heart .
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Weislaw Berdowicz, S.Chr

ABOUT OUR CHURCH
In 1908 the Jesuit Order founded a mission in the upper room of a schoolhouse located at 158 Ontario Street. Jesuit priests from Hamilton traveled to Guelph regularly to say Mass in Italian...
Parishes are communities of faith, of action, and of hope. They are where the gospel is proclaimed and celebrated, where believers are formed and sent to renew the earth. If you need the services of one of our ministries or if you would like to volunteer…
It is a place we can all come together to worship, be encouraged, and learn from God's words for spiritual growth. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
All meetings and events that have been held in the church will not be permitted until further direction from the Diocese of Hamilton and the Government of Ontario.
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
